TLC Domestic Agency | Newport Beach CA

TLC Domestic Agency is a Bay Area household staffing agency that helps families find qualified caregivers and domestic professionals. Serving the region since 1983, the agency draws on decades of experience and an extensive candidate database to match placements with each family’s needs. Its services include nanny and mother’s helper placements, housekeeping, elderly care and companionship, and staffing for homes and estates. TLC also recruits doulas, governesses, nurses, chauffeurs, butlers, personal assistants, estate managers, cooks, and chefs.

Candidate screening is central to the agency’s approach. Applicants undergo an application process, in-person behavioral screening, reference checks, and criminal background checks; the agency also cites professional experience, CPR and First Aid training, and TB testing among its qualifications. TLC offers a replacement guarantee of up to 120 days on placements, with the aim of helping families find the right fit. Families can describe their requirements and review candidate resumes, while a tax calculator helps estimate the cost of employing a care professional.
