California Shutters is a UK online retailer specialising in made-to-measure plantation shutters and shutter blinds. Established in 2002, the company offers custom window coverings designed for homeowners to measure and install themselves, with products delivered directly to the door. Its range includes real wood and waterproof faux wood shutters, as well as no-drill Perfect Fit shutter blinds that clip onto PVC window frames. Customers can choose from full-height, café-style, tier-on-tier and solid shutters, with options for different window types, rooms and colours.
The buying process is supported by online measuring guides, a shutter visualiser, installation instructions and expert design advice. Products arrive with frames, panels and fitting instructions, and the company says many customers can install them using basic tools. California Shutters offers a 10-year guarantee covering manufacturing defects, finish and hardware. The brand is an official B&Q partner, although orders and products are supplied directly by California Shutters Ltd. Its website also features product samples, buying guidance, delivery information and shutter deals.
