Calmer Con Boston

Calmer Con is a sensory-friendly comics and pop culture convention designed for people with sensory processing challenges, autism, and anxiety, while welcoming families and fans of all ages. Produced in partnership with the Boston Comic Arts Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the event offers an accessible way to enjoy the creativity and community of a traditional convention. Calmer Con Boston is scheduled for September 12, 2026, at Meadowbrook School in Weston, Massachusetts, with free admission for registered attendees.

The convention features cosplay and a contest, character meet-and-greets, Jedi training, drawing workshops, tabletop games, brick building, and live entertainment. Teens and young adults can visit a lounge with crafts, animation and comic tutorials, and a manga library. Attendees can meet professional artists in Artist Alley, browse family-friendly vendor products, and learn about special-needs services from providers and organizations. A dedicated Calmer Space is available for anyone who needs a break or time to regulate. Together, these offerings create a welcoming environment for exploration, creativity, and connection.
