Calmsden Horse Trials

Calmsden Horse Trials is a family-run equestrian events venue at Ampney Down Farm, near Cirencester in the Cotswolds. Set across a 500-acre farm, it hosts British Eventing and unaffiliated horse events in a scenic countryside setting. The events are designed to combine professional organisation with a relaxed, welcoming family atmosphere, and the cross-country course changes for each event. Designed by international course designer Andrew Hunter, the course makes use of the natural terrain and offers a variety of solid, well-built fences, including opportunities to educate novice horses.
