CalvaryArt presents the work of Peter Marcus Calvary, a Slovak visual artist and industrial designer born in Košice in 1975. The brand focuses on original stainless-steel artworks that combine distinctive metalwork with storytelling, symbolism and spiritual reflection. Inspired by biblical imagery and existential themes, the pieces explore ideas such as hope, love, peace, family and human experience.
Calvary’s collection includes metal wall pictures and larger spatial works created for interiors. Each artwork has its own narrative and recognisable artistic style. His portfolio includes pieces such as Kukučie hniezdo, a 28-metre installation completed for the Fairmont Golden Prague hotel in 2025, alongside works including Kruhy života, Mosty mieru and Tichá noc.
Since 2020, Calvary has concentrated on his independent artistic practice, building a collection of dozens of works. Visitors can view a selection in the “Dotyky neba” exhibition at Gallery Calvary, located in Grand Hotel Strand in Kúpele Ružbachy. The artist also undertakes curatorial and cultural activities and has exhibited in solo and group shows.
