About Sharefaith
Calvary Baptist Church, founded on April 25, 1953, in Tuscumbia, Alabama, is a vibrant community dedicated to maturing Christians through education, fellowship, and service. The church’s mission emphasizes witnessing and ministering to the world by spreading the love of God. Offering a variety of programs, Calvary serves all ages with children, youth, college, and career groups, as well as social gatherings for seniors known as Keenagers.
The church has a rich history, having grown from its humble beginnings with just over a hundred members to a thriving congregation with numerous outreach initiatives. Calvary has established the Calvary Learning Center, the first licensed daycare and kindergarten in the area, nurturing children in a Christian environment. Additionally, the church organizes various mission trips, small groups, and discipleship programs, alongside regular worship services and events that foster community and growth. Through its long-standing traditions and modern ministry efforts, Calvary Baptist Church remains dedicated to supporting individuals on their spiritual journeys.
