Cambridge Folk Festival

Cambridge Folk Festival is a music festival organised by Cambridge City Council, celebrating folk in its many forms and bringing artists and audiences together in Cambridge. Its programme pairs internationally recognised performers with emerging voices, reflecting the festival’s broad, evolving view of folk music. At Cherry Hinton Hall, visitors can enjoy performances across two main stages, as well as street entertainment from buskers and roving acts. Club Corner, developed with local folk clubs and promoters, adds opportunities to discover the city’s folk community.

The festival offers full-festival tickets and camping options, including caravan pitches, with information available about accommodation, accessibility and visiting. The 2027 festival is scheduled to culminate at Cherry Hinton Hall on 1 August, with the advertised event beginning on 30 July. Cambridge Folk Festival also presents events across the city, connecting its main gathering with a wider programme of live music. Through its curated line-up, welcoming atmosphere and focus on access and affordability, the festival invites people to share music, creativity and community.
