District Council Collaborative Board

The District Council Collaborative Board (DCCB) is a pivotal community organization in Camden, New Jersey, dedicated to enhancing public safety and quality of life through collaborative problem-solving strategies. Established in 2005 following recommendations from a Blue Ribbon Commission, the DCCB operates across four districts aligned with the city's police jurisdictions, ensuring that the unique needs of various neighborhoods are met.

At the heart of the DCCB's mission is the promotion of a community-policing model that brings together community members, law enforcement, and city officials to address public concerns collaboratively. With an emphasis on accountability, the organization fosters partnerships among residents, business owners, faith leaders, and non-profits to create sustainable solutions.

DCCB actively initiates neighborhood assessments, evaluates reported issues, and encourages the use of their Interactive Issue Map, enabling citizens to report local challenges anonymously, such as suspicious activities or quality-of-life concerns. Through these efforts, the DCCB strives to unify Camden residents in tackling shared issues and improving their city together.
