Camillus Sportsmen’s Club

Camillus Sportsmen’s Club is a private, nonprofit, member-operated shooting and conservation organization serving Central New York. Founded in 1949, the club welcomes members and families to its 100-acre property about six miles west of Syracuse. Its facilities support a broad range of shooting sports, including handgun, rifle, shotgun, and archery activities.

Members can use indoor and outdoor ranges, with rifle distances extending to 300 yards and dedicated areas for pistol, skeet, trap, and archery. The clubhouse includes an indoor pistol range, accessible restrooms, meeting and classroom space, and a reloading area. A picnic pavilion and lighted parking support club gatherings and activities.

The club organizes year-round rifle, handgun, and shotgun leagues, and hosts registered competitions in disciplines such as benchrest, high-power rifle, vintage rifle, and skeet. It also offers courses and clinics, including hunter education and junior programs. Membership is family-based, with access to the clubhouse and grounds; applications and renewals are accepted during monthly enrollment periods.
