Caminho Natural

Caminho Natural is an association dedicated to sharing the Tai Chi and Chi Kung teachings of Master Xuan Wu. Through open classes, workshops and seminars, it introduces traditional Chinese movement and meditative practices to newcomers while offering experienced practitioners opportunities to deepen their study. Events are held in locations across Portugal, including Tomar, Loulé, Montemor-o-Novo and the Azores, and welcome participants with different levels of experience.

The association’s activities include Chi Kung practice, Tai Chi instruction and study of the Bagua Zhang tradition of the Wújí School. Seminar programmes have featured the Master’s Chi Kung system, an accessible sequence known as the Eight Pieces of Brocade, a short 18-movement Tai Chi form, and other Tai Chi sequences. Some events also explore the dynamic, circular movements of Wújí Bagua Zhang. Alongside structured practice, open sessions encourage participants to meet, exchange information and experience the arts together. Caminho Natural presents these activities as opportunities to engage with traditional Chinese martial and meditative arts, with an emphasis on learning, wellbeing and inclusive participation.
