Caminhos Cruzados is a modern winery in Nelas, in Portugal’s Dão region, where tradition and innovation come together to express the character of the land. Its wines reflect the region’s mountain-protected vineyards, planted at elevations of 400 to 700 metres in granite and schist soils. The collection includes expressive red and white wines, including Vinhas da Teixuga and Caminhos Cruzados labels, valued for their freshness, balance, structure, and complexity.

At Quinta da Teixuga, the winery combines contemporary winemaking with a commitment to sustainability. Its approach includes an agroecological management plan and the use of sheep to support weed control and soil regeneration. Visitors can explore the vineyards and winery through guided tours, tastings, and activities such as grape and cocoa tasting, creative winemaking, and harvest experiences. The shop offers wines for purchase, while food experiences showcase regional flavours in settings across the winery and vineyard. Led by Chef Miguel Vidal, the kitchen also offers tailored menus, bringing local ingredients together with international influences.
