About CAMO-Net
CAMO-Net, the Centres for Antimicrobial Optimisation Network, is a global research partnership dedicated to combating antimicrobial resistance and promoting optimal antimicrobial use in humans. Our mission is to create a sustainable ecosystem for global research by developing tools, technologies, and practices that support the appropriate use of antimicrobials. CAMO-Net is founded on principles of equity, local leadership, and knowledge sharing.
We focus on understanding situational data, harnessing the power of data through strategic studies, implementing contextually appropriate solutions, and evaluating interventions to optimize antimicrobial use. With five national hubs, three technical support centers, and three shadow national sites, CAMO-Net operates on a collaborative model to address the global threat of antimicrobial resistance.
