Camp Fire WTX

Camp Fire West Texas is a youth-focused organization that creates safe, inclusive spaces where young people can connect with the outdoors, one another, and themselves. Part of the Camp Fire network, which began in 1910, it welcomes and supports all young people and works to foster positive relationships, belonging, and personal growth.

Its offerings include school-year programs, teen service and leadership opportunities, camps, outdoor education, and innovative youth programs. Local Kids Care services include after-school care for children attending participating Odessa and Greenwood schools, as well as a summer camp program in Odessa and Greenwood. The after-school program costs $60 per week per child, with a $20 registration fee; financial assistance may be available to eligible families through Child Care Services and Child Care Connection TX3C.

Camp Fire West Texas also partners with organizations that share its values and support young people’s success. Based in Midland, Texas, the organization serves local youth and families while contributing to Camp Fire’s broader mission of helping young people thrive.
