Camping Les Baleines is a four-star campsite on the wild coast of Île de Ré, set among the dunes in a protected natural landscape. With direct access to the ocean, it offers a peaceful base for visitors seeking fresh sea air, time outdoors and a slower-paced holiday. The site has held the European Ecolabel since 2013 and is also recognised under the Qualité Tourisme label.

On its 4.6-hectare grounds, the campsite provides 151 spacious pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, plus 17 mobile homes, three safari lodges and three locally made wooden cabins. Options range from simple stays to equipped pitches and comfortable rentals. Facilities and services include shared amenities, laundry, a bakery, library, supermarket access, a co-working space with private internet, and baby and motorhome services.

Guests can reach the beach directly and enjoy volleyball, pétanque, table tennis and a playground. Nearby cycling routes, the Phare des Baleines lighthouse, local villages and other outdoor activities make the campsite a convenient starting point for exploring the island.
