CampioMATE is a free Romanian team mathematics championship designed to make learning engaging for middle-school students. Inspired by sport and video gaming, the program invites student-players to solve a variety of challenges and compete alongside teammates and coaches. Participants develop their mathematical skills through qualifying rounds in November and a championship running from January to May, earning points and opportunities to receive medals and prizes. The level of difficulty is similar to Romania’s national assessment, making the program suitable for students with different starting levels who want to practise mathematics and improve their school or exam results.

CampioMATE is initiated by the Visuri Îndrăznețe Association and organised nationally in partnership with the Romanian Society of Mathematical Sciences. It is recognised among the Ministry of Education and Research’s national school competitions, with county-level partnerships involving school inspectorates in most of Romania’s counties. The site provides registration and login, training and technical tests, competition calendars, syllabi, standings, articles and guidance for students, teachers and coaches.
