Camp Journey NW

Camp Journey NW is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides a community of hope for families impacted by childhood cancer. Based in Spokane, Washington, the organization creates cost-free, medically supervised summer camp experiences for children affected by pediatric cancer. Its approach brings together the fun of traditional camp with medical care and emotional support, helping campers feel safe, joyful, confident, and supported.

Camp Journey NW welcomes eligible children as campers, and offers opportunities for adults to volunteer or serve as Camp Pals, buddies who attend resident camp alongside a camper. The organization also helps families prepare by sharing information about what to bring, what to expect, and other important camp details. Registration is free for families, while donations and community support help fund the medical care, activities, and resources needed to run camp.

Throughout the year, Camp Journey NW hosts and participates in events that raise awareness, bring people together, and support its mission. These include The Sweethearts’ Ball, a signature fundraising event.
