Camp Kinneret

Camp Kinneret is a coeducational summer day camp in Agoura Hills, California, founded in 1954. Set on 40 acres, it serves children ages 4–14, from preschool through eighth grade, and welcomes families from nearby communities including Calabasas, Westlake Village, Woodland Hills, Encino, and Thousand Oaks. The camp offers four two-week summer sessions in a supportive, child-centered, tech-free environment. Its mission is to build better people and teach skills for life by helping campers develop confidence, independence, communication skills, and meaningful friendships.

Activities span swimming, active play, creative play, arts and nature, adventure, and special events. Campers can also take part in age-specific programs, with opportunities suited to different developmental stages. Hands-on experiences include working together in an organic garden and enjoying its produce. For older participants, Camp Kinneret offers a leadership-focused Camp Internship for Leadership Training program for students entering grades 10–12. The organization also provides transportation information, tours, family resources, and opportunities for staff and alumni to stay connected.
