Campoastur es una cooperativa agraria, con servicios integrales en el medio rural, que nace de la fusión de varias cooperativas del Principado de Asturias. La cooperativa tiene por objeto la producción, transformación y comercialización de los productos obtenidos de las explotaciones de sus socios, la prestación de servicios y suministro de bienes o materias primas, la fabricación de productos para suministrar a sus socios, así como la realización de todo tipo de actividades y operaciones encaminadas al mejor aprovechamiento de las explotaciones agropecuarias de sus socios, la mejora de la población agraria y el desarrollo del medio rural, así como atender cualquier otro fin o servicio que sea propio de la actividad agraria o ganadera, o estén relacionados con ella.
