Camp Patrick

Camp Patrick is a volunteer-run organization that creates an inclusive, accessible camp experience for children and adolescents with spina bifida. Its six-day, five-night program welcomes campers ages 6 to 18 and offers wheelchair-accessible cabins, meals, experienced medical staff, and a dedicated volunteer team. Campers are encouraged to build independence, try new activities, and form lasting friendships with peers who share similar experiences. The organization also aims to provide families with a supportive community as their children attend camp.

Camp Patrick welcomes camper applications and recruits volunteers for a week-long commitment, with a range of staff roles available. It shares camp news, events, photos, and media updates, and provides information about medical equipment assistance and physician consent. Donations help children attend camp, and the organization also offers ways to contribute through its donation and shop pages. Camp Patrick has announced Adult Camp Patrick for October 8–11, 2026, with registration open. Its work is guided by a commitment to equity, belonging, and ensuring every camper feels valued, empowered, and safe.
