The Village is an international summer camp in Asturias, northern Spain, for children and teenagers aged 8 to 17. Organized by a school described as one of Spain’s top 100, the camp draws participants from around the world for a blend of language immersion, recreation, cultural exchange, and personal development. With more than 30 years of experience, it offers age-specific Kids and Teens programs and creates an English-speaking environment, with optional Spanish lessons.
Activities and excursions are conducted in English, and some learning activities are supervised by Cambridge University Press & Assessment. A small-group ratio of one coach for every five participants supports individual attention. International coaches bring varied backgrounds in areas including sport, the arts, and music.
The camp is based at the four-star URH ZEN Balagares Hotel & SPA, with full-board accommodation, and uses the secure sports facilities of San Fernando International School in Avilés. Amenities include swimming pools, tennis and padel courts, football and basketball facilities, and athletics tracks
