Campus Almkerk is a Dutch knowledge partner and innovation centre where nature, agriculture, food and technology come together. Its work focuses on developing practical, future-ready approaches to food production, grounded in healthy soil, healthy food and a healthy world. The campus connects people and organisations, shares expertise, and creates opportunities to test ideas, learn and collaborate in real-world settings.
Its projects include Pixelfarming, which brings ecological principles together with carefully applied technology, and soil mapping to support precise, regenerative agriculture. In partnership with St. Antonius Hospital, Campus Almkerk is also developing a regenerative, medically guided food supply chain and exploring the role of regenerative vegetables in hospital meals. The site includes a food forest and an experimental pixel garden for investigating biodiversity, crop combinations, soil effects and technologies such as robotics.
Campus Almkerk also offers facilities for meetings, training and education. Its Graszaal accommodates around 10 people, while the larger Educatieruimte can host around 25. Both spaces can be rented from two hours, with catering available on request.
