About UVCE Placements
UVCE Placements | Bangalore is the official placement cell of University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) in Bangalore, affiliated to Bangalore University. Established in 1917 by Sir M Visvesvaraya, UVCE is the fifth engineering college in India and the first in Karnataka. With a rich history and a legacy of 99 years, UVCE has produced numerous successful engineers who have made significant contributions in India and abroad.
Currently, UVCE offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in fields such as Architecture, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Admission to these programs is based on entrance exams like Common Entrance Test (CET) for undergraduate courses and Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or Post Graduate CET (PGCET) for postgraduate courses. UVCE is dedicated to providing quality technical education and is supported by the World Bank under the TEQIP project.
