Camp Wittman

Camp Wittman Outdoor Center (CWOC) is a nonprofit rustic retreat and natural resource education facility in Nez Perce County, North Central Idaho, between Lewiston and Winchester. Set in a working farm and ranch landscape, the center offers a place for people to learn, gather, and enjoy outdoor experiences. CWOC is available to rent for educational and recreational use from May through October; visits at other times may be considered by request.

The center supports educators and resource professionals with opportunities to complement classroom learning through hands-on outdoor activities. It also welcomes business teams, private groups, and other visitors for recreation, teamwork, and tailored events. Its facilities include a lodge, bunkhouses, pavilion, kitchen and dining area, bathrooms, showers, fire pit, and challenge course.

CWOC’s mission is to help learners of all ages explore natural resource stewardship in a rustic setting. Its programs and experiences promote science-based education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and lifelong learning. The organization aims to foster a deeper understanding of sustainable resource management and an appreciation of nature conservation.
