CanadianAGSD

The Canadian Association for Glycogen Storage Disease (CAGSD) is a registered Canadian charitable organization dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by Glycogen Storage Disease (GSD). It supports patients, families, and healthcare professionals across Canada, guided by the belief that no family should face GSD alone. Its work focuses on informing, connecting, and inspiring the GSD community through education, support, and advocacy.

CAGSD offers information about GSD and its different types, along with resources for individuals and families navigating the condition. The organization also shares updates on clinical research and trials, helping its community learn about developments relevant to GSD. Its activities include building connections among patients, families, and healthcare professionals, and providing opportunities to get involved through donations, volunteering, and becoming a “Friend” of CAGSD. A volunteer Scientific Advisory Committee includes clinicians and other experts who contribute to the organization’s work. Donations help fund research, education, and community support for Canadian patients and families.
