CanadianHeadstones.com

CanadianHeadstones is a dedicated volunteer-operated charity committed to preserving Canada’s cemetery heritage. Offering a comprehensive platform, it provides free access to a vast database of headstone information and cemetery records, including full transcriptions for the visually impaired. The organization allows users to search for burial locations and submit new records, ensuring that the memories of ancestors are honored and accessible to all.

In addition to headstone searches, CanadianHeadstones offers resources for transcribing headstone images and family tree hosting, making it an invaluable tool for genealogical research. Their mission is driven by the passion of volunteers who keep the site flourishing without the burden of subscriptions or advertisements, distinguishing it from for-profit services like FindaGrave and BillionGraves. By prioritizing community support and collaboration, CanadianHeadstones continues to play a pivotal role in connecting families with their heritage while promoting the importance of remembering our past.
