About CANARI Caribbean
CANARI Caribbean is the Caribbean Natural Resources Institute dedicated to promoting sustainable development and the management of natural resources in the Caribbean islands. With a mission to facilitate equitable participation and effective collaboration, CANARI works towards improving the quality of life for the people and conserving natural resources through various initiatives. CANARI offers a range of programs and services to achieve its goals.
Its thematic programs focus on coastal and marine as well as forest livelihoods and governance. CANARI also works on issue programs such as civil society and governance, climate change, and disaster risk reduction, and the green economy.
