The Australian National Botanic Gardens, located in Canberra, is dedicated to inspiring and educating visitors about Australia’s diverse flora. As a premier institution, it maintains a comprehensive scientific collection of native plants from across the continent, which are displayed to enhance public enjoyment and understanding. Alongside its living collection, the Gardens houses a herbarium of preserved plant specimens, crucial for research on plant classification and biology.

The Gardens play a vital role in conservation efforts, cultivating threatened species to protect them from extinction and facilitate their potential reintroduction into natural habitats. Visitors can explore guided walks, exhibitions, and seasonal activities to engage with the landscape's rich biodiversity. For educational initiatives, the Gardens offer programs for schools and community learning resources. With amenities like the Pollen Cafe and Jindii Eco Spa, along with venues available for hire, the Australian National Botanic Gardens provides a unique environment for both relaxation and exploration of Australia’s natural heritage.
