Cancer Environnement

Cancer Environnement is a French-language information portal developed by the Cancer Prevention and Environment Department of the Centre Léon Bérard. It provides evidence-based resources on cancer risks associated with environmental and workplace exposures, as well as individual behaviours, nutrition and physical activity. The portal helps readers understand what is known about cancer causes, how evidence is assessed and which prevention measures may be relevant.

Its content includes overviews of numerous cancer types and detailed topics covering exposures such as pesticides, air pollution, asbestos, radon, chemicals, infections and tobacco. Nutrition and lifestyle resources address subjects including alcohol, diet, exercise, obesity, fasting and vitamin D. The site also features scientific article reviews, research publications and materials from the International Agency for Research on Cancer, including monographs, classifications and prevention handbooks.

Practical tools and reference resources support users seeking information on occupational diseases, exposure recommendations, epidemiological studies, environmental health training and recognition of occupational cancers. Overall, Cancer Environnement brings together scientific knowledge and prevention guidance for the public and professionals.
