Cancer Missions Hubs
@cancermissionhubs.eu
Cancer-healthcare, research and innovation face core common challenges, such as fragmentation of initiatives and distancing from important stakeholders, requiring coordinated solutions. These challenges are recognised in Horizon Europe’s Cancer Mission Implementation Plan and in Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan. The proposal Establishing of Cancer Mission Hubs: Networks and Synergies (ECHoS) represents a unique opportunity to coordinate R&I and Healthcare actions on cancer with policy-making processes creating transnational communication & collaboration networks aligned with Cancer Mission objectives.

About Cancer Missions Hubs
ECHoS is an European project funded by the Horizon Europe Programme, dedicated to supporting the implementation of Cancer Mission activities across all Member States and Associated Countries. Their focus lies in establishing and developing National Cancer Mission Hubs (NCMHs) on national, regional, and local levels. By creating these hubs, ECHoS aims to amplify the voices of European citizens and organizations in the health and research sectors, fostering collaboration and synergy.
With 57 partners from 28 countries and a funding of 6 million Euros over 36 months, ECHoS aims to facilitate the creation of NCMHs, engage stakeholders in policy dialogues, and promote a holistic approach towards cancer care in Europe. Through various initiatives and events like workshops and webinars, ECHoS is working towards building a network that advances the Cancer Mission and creates meaningful impact in the fight against cancer
