About Candle of Hope Foundation
Candle of Hope Foundation (COHF) is a non-governmental organization that is registered with the Government of Kenya. Dedicated to making a positive impact, COHF focuses on various areas including education, livelihoods, health, governance and peace building, as well as gender and women empowerment. Since its establishment in 2016, COHF has been implementing humanitarian and development initiatives in Somaliland and Kenya through community-initiated programs.
With main offices in Nairobi and Hargeisa, COHF promotes initiatives in sectors such as anti-human trafficking and smuggling of migrants, health and nutrition, education, livelihoods, governance, and inclusive initiatives for people with disabilities and those affected by HIV/AIDS. COHF takes a participatory approach, working closely with communities to identify and address their core needs for sustainable and resilient change.
