CANEGROWERS is a grower-led, not-for-profit industry body representing Queensland’s sugarcane growers. Founded in 1926, it works at local, state, national and international levels to help secure a positive future for cane farming and the communities that depend on it. The organisation has 12 district offices across Queensland’s sugarcane regions and a state office in Brisbane.
CANEGROWERS supports members through advocacy, government engagement and industry representation, working to improve policy and legislative outcomes and shape the strategic direction of Australia’s sugarcane industry. Members also receive free crop insurance cover for specified fire, hail and transport-related losses.
