Caney Alumni

Caney Alumni Association connects graduates from Caney, Kansas, and invites them to support local students and the Caney Valley school district, USD #436. Its objective is to provide scholarships for graduating seniors and build a General Fund through membership dues and donations. Funds raised help the association give back to the district and ease the effects of education funding cuts. Past support has included a multi-year contribution toward a new sound system for the high school auditorium, which serves school events, classes, concerts, performances, and professional development.

The association offers several ways for alumni to participate, including paying dues, making online donations, joining its mailing list, and attending the annual homecoming. Donations may support the General Fund, scholarship funds, or memorial scholarships honoring loved ones. The association also shares news, alumni letters, homecoming information, photos, memorial videos, and details about its Wall of Honor. Its scholarship program recognizes eligible applicants; the site reports that 29 scholarships totaling $21,750 were awarded in 2026.
