Can Freu

Can Freu Cycling House is a rural cycling accommodation in Vilobí d’Onyar, in Girona’s La Selva region, designed for individual riders and groups seeking a nature-based training stay. Led by host Mauri Nialet, the house combines more than 25 years of welcoming guests with his three decades of cycling experience. Road, mountain bike and gravel routes begin at the door, with access to the varied terrain of the Guilleries and nearby Santa Coloma de Farners.

Guests can use a private technical riding circuit in two hectares of oak and cork oak woodland, a professional bike workshop, secure storage for up to 45 bicycles, and a washing area. Included support services feature an eight-seat van with a bike trailer, transport to local riding spots and breakdown pickup. Accommodation offers space for up to 45 guests, an outdoor pool, rest areas, coworking facilities and high-speed Wi-Fi. Meal options range from accommodation only to breakfast or energy-focused half board, with cyclist-friendly meals and takeaway picnics.
