Canil Zirí-Zirí

Canil Zirí-Zirí is a specialist Italian Greyhound kennel based in São Paulo, Brazil, dedicated to the breed also known as the Galguinho Italiano or Pequeno Lebrel Italiano. Founded by Tania Improta, the kennel developed its breeding program with dogs sourced from Russia, France, and Colombia, including champion bloodlines. Its stated priorities are breed standards, carefully planned matings, and healthy puppies with sound temperaments. The kennel reports that its breeding dogs undergo eye examinations, skin testing, and blood counts to help identify health concerns, and that puppies leave vaccinated according to age, dewormed, and microchipped.

Prospective puppy owners first speak with the breeder, who explains the breed’s characteristics, care needs, and wellbeing requirements. Canil Zirí-Zirí also offers guidance to help puppies adjust to their new families. The website lists a boutique hotel service alongside its breeding and puppy sales. The kennel participates in dog shows and presents its dogs as titled champions. Its broader mission is to provide families with a positive experience while promoting responsible, health-conscious Italian Greyhound breeding.
