Emma's Fund is a heartfelt initiative dedicated to supporting canine epilepsy research, established in honor of Emma, a beloved Dalmatian who inspired many through her journey with the condition. After facing a challenging battle with intractable epilepsy, Emma’s story highlights the transformative impact of a raw diet, which significantly reduced her seizures and allowed her to lead a fulfilling life until her disappearance in 2007.

The fund is managed by the Epil-K9 Foundation, which collaborates with the Neurology Department at North Carolina State University to provide financial assistance for critical equipment and research projects aimed at improving the lives of dogs affected by epilepsy. Donations can be made through various channels, including checks and PayPal. Additionally, the initiative advocates for awareness and education on canine epilepsy, promoting resources like the children's illustrated book "What's Wrong With Gibson?" which contributes a portion of its proceeds to further research.
