The Cannabis Museum, located in the serene Hocking River Valley of Southeastern Ohio, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educational and research endeavors surrounding cannabis and other sacred plants. Established in 2018, our mission is to delve into the hidden histories of mainstream global culture, prohibition, and politics related to cannabis. With an extensive collection of over 10,000 items including prints, bottles, photographs, and manuscripts from around the world, we aim to preserve and disseminate knowledge about the artistic, historic, medical, and industrial aspects of cannabis.

Visitors can explore our new location on 16050 Canaanville Road, Athens OH, with an affordable admission fee of $5. We are open Wednesday through Saturday, 12 to 5, and by appointment.
