Cannon River Outdoors Club is a community organization serving the greater Northfield area, with a mission to expand opportunities for outdoor sports and recreation. It brings together youth, families, and individuals in a club environment centered on education, practical knowledge, shared experiences, and sportsmanship. The club aims to build a lasting legacy of outdoor recreation in the community and the Northfield School district.

Its support includes the Northfield High School Clay Target Team and Fishing Team, American Legion Post 435, and Civilian Marksmanship Program juniors. The club also promotes outdoor education through gun safety and hunter education, ATV and snowmobile safety certification, bowhunter education, fishing education, and outdoor mentoring. Veteran outreach is another part of its community work.

To support its mission, Cannon River Outdoors Club raises funds through membership dues, corporate sponsorships, events and activities, and charitable gambling. Its website offers information for members and sponsors, discussion boards, a calendar, and account registration and login options.
