Canoa Club Livorno

Canoa Club Livorno is an amateur sports and social promotion organisation in Livorno, Italy, dedicated to canoeing, community participation and environmental care. Active since 1985, the club introduces people of different ages and abilities to canoe and kayak, offering beginner courses, youth programmes and competitive training. Its activities also include dragon boat courses and teams, with dedicated initiatives for women, including Bimbe in Rosa, which brings together women affected by breast cancer through paddling.

The club works with local partners to promote the development of the San Leonardo River Park and outdoor sport as a way to support healthy lifestyles, inclusion and connection with the environment. Its Naviga Con Noi programme has offered free three-month courses for young people, women and school groups, alongside dragon boat and kayak experiences designed to welcome participants with disabilities. The club also supports educational and community activities, including opportunities for young people to explore sport, practical workshops and collaborative events.
