Canoe Kayak Saskatchewan

Canoe Kayak Saskatchewan (CKS) is a non-profit organization founded in 1976, dedicated to fostering excellence and lifelong participation in various paddling disciplines, including canoe, kayak, dragon boat, paddle boarding, and more. As the Provincial Sport Organization for Saskatchewan, CKS oversees four key disciplines: Recreation, Marathon, Sprint, and Whitewater, and collaborates with a network of member clubs to provide diverse programs throughout the province.

CKS is committed to enhancing access to paddling through initiatives such as Learn-to-Paddle and inclusive programs for Newcomers, Indigenous communities, and individuals with disabilities. Additionally, CKS focuses on education by supporting the development of coaches, officials, and athletes, and facilitating participation at all competitive levels, including local and international events.

Through strategic partnerships, funding from Sask Sport, and a robust governance structure, CKS continues to promote transparent, sustainable programming, ensuring that paddling in Saskatchewan remains accessible, enjoyable, and positioned for future growth.
