CANOTAJE CHILE

The Federación Deportiva Nacional de Canotaje de Chile, known as FDN Canotaje Chile, is the national federation for canoeing and related paddle sports in Chile. Affiliated with the Chilean Olympic Committee and the International Canoe Federation (ICF), it describes itself as the home of Chile’s national canoeing team. Its activities span waterways from the Laja area to Villarrica and encompass five disciplines: canoe and kayak speed racing, slalom and kayak cross, marathon, stand up paddle, and paracanoe.

The federation supports athletes and clubs through registration as federated competitors, national team pathways, competitions, rankings, results, and sporting regulations. It publishes competition calendars and news, including information about national and international events, selection races, and official equipment homologation. Its educational offerings include courses for coaches and judges, as well as stand up paddle monitor training. FDN Canotaje Chile also shares information and guidance on disability and inclusive high-performance paddling. Through its federation resources, events, and training, it connects Chilean paddling clubs and athletes with opportunities to participate and compete.
