The Canadian Guidelines for Post-COVID-19 Condition (CAN-PCC) is a collaborative initiative aimed at addressing the long-term effects of COVID-19 ailments, commonly referred to as “long COVID. ” Backed by the Public Health Agency of Canada, Cochrane Canada, and the McMaster GRADE Centre, CAN-PCC provides robust, evidence-based guidelines tailored for diverse stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, policymakers, and patients. The organization focuses on developing and disseminating six comprehensive guidelines that cover the spectrum of post-COVID conditions.

By actively engaging with clinicians, equity-seeking communities, and the general populace, CAN-PCC ensures that the guidelines are relevant and accessible. Additionally, it employs various committees, including the Guideline Development Group and the Equity Oversight Committee, to uphold health equity and gather valuable public input.
