Canuck Place

Canuck Place Children’s Hospice is a Canadian nonprofit and the only pediatric palliative care provider serving children in British Columbia and the Yukon. It supports children aged 0–19 with life-threatening illnesses and walks alongside their families through uncertain and difficult times. Its multidisciplinary team provides specialized care designed to ease symptoms, support family wellbeing, and help families make meaningful memories.

Services include pain and symptom management, medical respite care, grief and bereavement counselling, and loving end-of-life care. The hospice also offers art and education, music, play, and recreation therapy, along with tailored care plans and counselling and respite support for families enrolled in its program. Care is provided at no cost to families, made possible by donor generosity.

Canuck Place also shares expertise through research, training, and education in pediatric palliative care. The organization welcomes support through one-time and monthly donations, workplace and corporate campaigns, fundraising events, volunteering, gifts in wills, gifts of stock, and other giving options.
