Cap’Animation is a community-based association in the Catalan region, with its headquarters in Perpignan. Its work focuses on children and young people, offering educational and leisure activities through after-school and leisure-centre programmes at several local sites, including Boussiron, C. Simon, Coubertin, Fénelon and Square Platane. The association presents its centres as a new-generation approach to leisure, combining cultural, educational, sporting and environmental activities.

Guided by popular education, Cap’Animation promotes active, cooperative learning that supports children’s autonomy, curiosity and participation. Its programmes include themed activities, wellbeing and health initiatives, creative projects, chess introductions and opportunities for children to contribute through councils. The association also aims to foster inclusion, respect for individual differences and positive social relationships, including support for children and young people experiencing vulnerability.

Working with residents, institutions and local partners, Cap’Animation develops projects connected to social, cultural and environmental issues. It shares programme updates and information for families, helping them follow activities and events across its centres.
