Capel Sound Taxi

Capel Sound Taxi is a locally operated passenger transport service based in Capel Sound and Rosebud, serving communities across the Mornington Peninsula. It provides door-to-door rides 24 hours a day, every day of the year, with immediate dispatch and advance bookings available up to 90 days ahead. The company promotes fixed fares and no surge pricing, and says its drivers are locally knowledgeable and accredited by Commercial Passenger Vehicles Victoria.

Services include local journeys, hospital and shopping trips, and transfers to Melbourne, Avalon, Moorabbin and Essendon airports. Airport rides feature flight monitoring and terminal meet-and-greet arrangements. The fleet includes sedans, SUVs, 13-seat maxi taxis and wheelchair-accessible vehicles with hydraulic ramps. Capel Sound Taxi also provides group transport for weddings and events, winery and golf trips, hotel transfers, and same-day parcel delivery across the peninsula. Its service area includes Rosebud, Capel Sound, Rye, Sorrento, Mornington and other nearby suburbs. Passengers can book online or call for urgent bookings.
