CapeXit is a non-political movement that aims to achieve independence for the Western Cape in South Africa. Regardless of race, religion, or political views, CapeXit unites all people of the Western Cape who desire a brighter future. Their vision includes building a secure and prosperous new nation, eliminating poverty, unemployment, racism, and discrimination, as well as improving education and reducing crime and drug abuse.

CapeXit's strategy involves implementing a direct democracy using the Swiss Canton System and becoming a tax haven using the TEAL system. They are working towards organizing a referendum with the South African government, seeking the support of 1. 6 million people.

If government approval is not granted, CapeXit will turn to international bodies like the United Nations to fulfill their goal. In the independent Western Cape, citizens will have a say in electing a new accountable government. The tax system will be transformed with the TEAL system, bringing numerous benefits such as no VAT, personal or company income taxes, or taxes on fuel products.

Secession from the current ruling ANC government is seen as the only way to achieve these improvements, with secession benefiting everyone. A new government will prioritize education, policing, healthcare, law and order, property rights, and secure borders to prevent illegal immigration. CapeXit believes that independence is legal, practical, and necessary for a brighter future in the Western Cape.
