Ca’ Pigneto is a family-run agricultural estate in Negrar, in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica wine region near Verona, Veneto. The 15-hectare property sits at about 350 metres above sea level and is centered on a historic 17th-century villa, overlooking the surrounding valley. The estate continues a long agricultural tradition associated with the Serenelli family, with Paola Adami Serenelli, her husband and their children committed to cultivating vines and preserving the family’s connection to the land.
Ca’ Pigneto produces wines from the Valpolicella area, including Amarone, Ripasso and Recioto, as well as Valpolicella wines. The estate presents its vineyards, cellar, history and local territory, and shares news and visitor information through its website. Its Amarone 2013 received 94 points and its Ripasso 93 points in Daniele Cernilli’s Guida essenziale ai vini d’Italia. The farm is located on Via Pignetto in Negrar, while its cellar is listed at a separate address in San Pietro in Cariano.
