Capital Baptist Church in Annandale, VA is a vibrant and welcoming community that is passionate about leading people in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Our church is committed to creating a space where individuals from all walks of life can come together, belong, and experience a fresh start for the future. Our story began in 1982, when Lead Pastor Steve Reynolds and Pastor Bob Eagy, along with their wives, had a dream of starting a new church.

With faith and commitment, they moved to Northern Virginia and planted the church in a public school. Through God's blessings, a group of like-minded individuals joined them, and in 1990, the church merged with Capital Baptist Church to find a permanent home. Our vision is to be a multi-ethnic, multi-generational, and mission-focused church, dedicated to leading our community in a growing relationship with Jesus.

We offer a variety of services, including English services at 8:15am, 9:30am, and 11:00am, as well as services for Spanish and Korean-speaking communities. At Capital Baptist Church, there are endless opportunities for you to connect, grow, and get involved. From children's programs like AWANA, to Young Adult Groups, Youth Ministry, Growth Groups, Homeschool Co-op, and our Bible Institute, there is a place for everyone.

We firmly believe in the authority of Scriptures and the one true God, as well as the deity and work of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. We strive to live righteously and show the love of Christ through good works, but understand that salvation is through grace alone, obtained by faith and repentance.
