Le projet de Capitale Culturelle Suisse promeut la diversité culturelle, valorise la création artistique et ambitionne de renforcer sur le long terme la cohésion nationale. Tous les trois ans, le label « Capitale Culturelle Suisse » est décerné à une ville ou une région. Le projet vise à faire participer la population suisse à la vie culturelle, en favorisant la création et l’échange.
