The Brasilianisch-Deutsches Zentrum für Kultur, Sport und Tanz Heidelberg e.V. is a community association focused on Brazilian-German culture, sport and dance. Its martial arts academy offers training in Capoeira and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), welcoming children, young people and adults. Capoeira combines movement, dance and martial arts, while BJJ training is provided in association with GFTeam. The centre also promotes self-defence through its martial arts activities.
Courses are organised for different age groups, with dedicated children’s training as well as sessions for adults. The association publishes training schedules and information about its instructors, membership and facilities, helping prospective participants find a suitable class. Newcomers are invited to attend a free trial training session before joining. The centre’s website also shares community news and events, including children’s festivals and seasonal schedule updates.
Based in the Heidelberg area, the association lists a training location at Max-Planck-Straße 5 in Schriesheim, Germany. Through its classes and community activities, it brings together sport, movement and cultural exchange.
