Capriciano Osteria

Capriciano Osteria is an Italian restaurant in downtown Santa Rosa, bringing the warmth of an Italian osteria to Sonoma wine country. Its approach combines traditional Italian cooking with Californian ingredients, careful preparation, and a welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen makes pasta in-house, prepares fresh seafood daily, and cooks dishes to order in a wood-fired oven.

The menu features antipasti such as oysters, octopus, and calamari; handmade pasta, including ravioli and Wagyu Bolognese rigatoni; wood-fired pizza with San Marzano tomatoes and fresh mozzarella; and seafood dishes such as Sicilian sea bass, salmon, and seafood risotto. Guests can also enjoy desserts, coffee, aperitivi, Italian and California beers, and a wine list that brings Italian selections together with Sonoma wines. Gluten-free and vegan pasta are available on request.

Capriciano offers indoor dining and a seasonal al fresco terrace, along with private events, custom menus, group dinners, and select off-site catering. The restaurant welcomes celebrations and corporate gatherings, with capacity for up to 89 guests for a full buyout.
